Hello
After 37 years of living in London I took the opportunity last November to leave Blighty and come and work & live in Chicago. Chicago's quite a cool place actually and I don't really miss London at all accept for the obvious things (people aside) such as sitting in front of Soccer Saturday with a cup of tea and a proper sausage sandwich dripping in HP sauce or even better having a couple of pints in the Bugle Horn on a matchday, eating a cheese roll that had had a worse week than me.
This brings me to the main reason of What was the score? because I can't tell you how hard it is living in America being a Charlton fan. Now as you know living in Charlton and being a Charlton fan is no easy ride! However missing the bulk of the best ever Addicks season in modern memory was tough.
This will be my place to vent my views on Charlton and anything else that I think about, and believe me I think about some strange stuff! Be warned - if you are an American, your country & the people that live in it may get the odd mention too!
