omar pouso signs on loan
Remember when all of our eyes were on Darren Bent on his England debut, but that goal Uruguay scored took your breath away (it can be seen again here)? Well we have today signed that bloke who scored that 35-yard thunderbolt. Omar Pouso is his name and he plays for Penarol in Uruguay and is considered to be their best player.
"He's got good ability, he's a good age, he brings athleticism to the team and creativity, but he also has plenty of aggression and competes very hard, which is very important for that central midfield area," Dowie on his 9th signing.
