All Quiet when Defoe scored. That bastard was always likely to write our epilogue and no doubt Javier Mascherano will close the book on Sunday!
There will be plenty time to disect the season but at least we can now let out a huge sigh of relief as our Premiership life is finally put to sleep. The Addicks are dead. Long live the mighty Addicks.

Super Al: "Aside from the politics that are going on off the pitch, you end up where you end up. Their little bit of quality was the difference. That bit of quality is what we've lacked on this final run. This is a great club and the fans have been absolutely brilliant. They (the board) have been very, very supportive to me, I've signed a contract here and people here have been brilliant to me and in some ways I want to repay that."
