A Rainbow Nation at peace with itself
I watched the film Invictus recently, the story of the 1995 Rugby World Cup. It was a good film and it evoked plenty of emotions and memories of a country coming out of apartheid under Nelson Mandela, incredibly just 15 years ago.
Invictus also got me nicely in the mood for the South African World Cup which starts tomorrow. Not everything is rosy in South Africa but these BBC opening credits (click here to watch) for the tournament are brilliant as always and remind us all what this country has been through, yet how beautiful it is as well. ¶ 13:55
